The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a firm-fixed-price sole-source contract for Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC EONA portable reverse-osmosis water purification systems for hemodialysis. The notice is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals; interested parties may submit capability information demonstrating that they can provide a product meeting the stated requirements. The requirement is identified as a sole-source procurement under the authority for only one responsible source. The requirement includes portable, FDA-cleared hemodialysis RO systems capable of producing dialysis-grade water meeting applicable AAMI/ANSI/ISO standards, with mobile bedside deployment, monitoring and alarms, leak detection, automated disinfection, microbial and endotoxin control, data logging, and associated hoses, filters, test kits, disinfectants, replacement parts, and transport equipment. Related services include OEM-authorized installation, clinical and technical training, preventive maintenance, technical support, water sampling, warranty coverage, and enterprise-scale sustainment for the existing installed base across nearly 80 VA medical centers, including 67 facilities operating Evoqua systems and Rover carts.
