Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, is conducting market research for a planned procurement of spare marine gas turbine engines, subassemblies, and parts to support U.S. Navy surface combatants and the Ship to Shore Connector. The anticipated supplies include several Rolls-Royce engine models, engine modules, shipping containers, transport equipment, kits, turbine blades and vanes, and related components. The Government expects to order items through individual delivery orders as needed; the quantities listed are estimates. Interested businesses are requested to submit a capability statement of no more than five pages describing their capacity, technical knowledge, and ability or approach to meet the requirement. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a request for proposals. The notice states that the Government intends to pursue a sole-source procurement from Rolls-Royce Solutions America, Inc.; the capability statements are for market research and procurement-strategy planning.
