The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 879 turbine rotor blades (NSN 0R-2840-017141155-B8; reference number 5144T23P02), delivered FOB origin. The item is flight-critical, and the Government states that only previously approved sources have been solicited because available technical data is insufficient for full and open competition. A new source must provide the information required by the applicable NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochure with its offer; offers lacking the required data or proof of prior submission will not be considered. The notice states that the Government intends to negotiate with one source under FAR 6.302-1, while allowing interested parties to submit capability information or proposals for consideration.
