Description
Canadore College intends to acquire and implement specialized renewable energy training systems for its Electrician - Construction and Maintenance (309A) apprenticeship program. The scope includes six hybrid solar and wind energy training systems, one wind turbine nacelle learning system, and one wind turbine electrical hub learning system, along with proprietary teachware, curriculum materials, software licenses, online learning resources, instructional content, technical documentation, user manuals, warranties, replacement-parts availability, and technical support. The contractor must provide delivery, freight, handling, installation, commissioning support, operational verification, and integration support for the College's apprenticeship training environment. Equivalent solutions must support wind and solar energy technologies, renewable energy generation, wind turbine systems, electrical energy distribution concepts, and hands-on post-secondary laboratory instruction. The notice is an Advanced Contract Award Notice identifying Festo Didactic Ltd. as the pre-selected supplier; other providers may submit a Statement of Capabilities demonstrating that they meet the mandatory requirements. The estimated initial-term value is approximately $340,000 excluding HST.
