Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking five 55-pound drums of Type II, air-set refractory mortar meeting ASTM F1097, with a maximum service temperature of 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The material must meet the stated shelf-life, packaging, preservation, marking, hazardous-material labeling, and domestic-material requirements, and must be delivered FOB destination to the specified Navy logistics facility in Yokosuka, Japan. The solicitation requires contractor first-article testing of one unit, including testing under ASTM F1097 special government requirements and submission of a first-article test report. The contractor must provide the report and certificate of conformance for review before shipment, obtain written authorization before shipping, and include the applicable test report, certificate, and safety documentation with the pallets. The quotation must be submitted through the designated electronic bid board system.
