Description
The Washington State Department of Transportation is soliciting a public works contractor for the Clear Creek Stream Restoration project. The work includes removing two dams and other obstructions, restoring a portion of Clear Creek, installing a temporary stream diversion system, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, tree removal, channel excavation, stream grading, installation of large woody material, and planting. The project involves 111 bid items and 300 working days. The estimated contract value is $10,000,000–$12,000,000. The contract is state funded and includes a 5% condition-of-award small business enterprise goal and a 2% condition-of-award veteran-owned business goal. A voluntary pre-bid site visit is scheduled, and bids are submitted electronically through BidX.com.
