Description
The Department of the Air Force, through the Air Force Sustainment Center, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the new manufacture of a combustion liner, part number 6894068, National Stock Number (NSN) 2840-01-049-1153OJ, for the T56 platform. Potential sources must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required for the new manufacture of the item. This generally entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Additionally, potential sources may be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets. The government is interested in all potential sources, including small businesses of various designations, and may consider breaking the requirement out by airframe. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only, and not a Request for Proposal.
