Description
The Utah Department of Workforce Services is requesting two new OPEX Falcon scanner PCs under an amendment to existing Contract 246400. The PCs will replace older OPEX Falcon PCs that are no longer compatible with upgraded Windows software and must integrate with existing OPEX Falcon imaging machines, applications, interfaces, and document-processing workflows. The notice identifies OPEX Corporation as the vendor and states that the procurement is being pursued without a standard competitive process because OPEX Falcon PCs are developed, manufactured, and owned entirely by OPEX, with no other companies selling them. The requested increase is $13,480, raising the existing contract total from $183,333.88 to a proposed total of $196,813.88.
