Description
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is soliciting grant applications for health services research. This initiative aims to support research that focuses on AHRQ's priorities, including enhancing healthcare quality, improving patient safety, advancing healthcare delivery and practice improvement, and promoting whole-person healthcare. Research can encompass all healthcare settings, such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, ambulatory care centers, home healthcare, pharmacies, and care transitions between these settings. The research may involve collaboration with various partners, including patients, families, clinicians, non-clinical staff, policymakers, payers, healthcare organizations, providers, accreditors, local and state governments, the federal government, and others. Eligible applicants include state governments, private institutions of higher education, independent school districts, county governments, special district governments, for-profit organizations other than small businesses, nonprofits (with or without 501(c)(3) status), federally recognized Native American tribal governments, public and Indian housing authorities, city or township governments, other Native American tribal organizations, public and state institutions of higher education, small businesses, U.S. territories or possessions, and other eligible entities. Non-domestic (non-U.S.) entities and non-domestic components of U.S. organizations are not eligible to apply.
