Description
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County is seeking a comprehensive beverage partnership covering exclusive campus-wide cold-beverage availability and merchandising rights. The awarded contractor must provide bottled and canned beverages, fountain and post-mix products, vending machines, coolers, dispensing equipment, distribution, inventory management, installation, maintenance, repairs, and responsive customer service. The program includes 51 vending machines across 28 locations, Dining Services, the campus bookstore, athletics, events, and the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena. Equipment must support required payment methods, comply with applicable regulations, and meet Energy Star and accessibility requirements. The contractor must also provide marketing, promotional, sponsorship, campus-engagement, sustainability, reporting, and revenue-support programs. Proposals must include technical and financial components, including product offerings, marketing and sustainability plans, maintenance and repair procedures, revenue projections, financial commitments, commission rates, pricing, key personnel, company experience, references, and required Maryland MBE documentation. The contract is a ten-year base term with three two-year renewal options, for a potential maximum term of sixteen years.
