Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is accepting bids for the purchase and removal of an approximately 1,600-square-foot, two-story wooden farmhouse with a basement. Bidders may propose full structure removal for off-site reuse or restoration, on-site dismantling for salvage, or alternative removal approaches. The selected bidder must remove all structural materials, debris, waste, furnace, hot water tank, and pressure tank; provide all equipment and work-area fencing; protect surrounding natural resources; and leave the site clean, stable, and safe. The bidder is responsible for permits, environmental compliance, disposal or mitigation of any asbestos discovered during the work, and applicable transportation requirements for relocating the structure. Work must begin within 20 days of purchase, and the building and debris must be removed within 180 days of contract execution. The building is sold as-is, and award will be made to the bidder offering the highest purchase price. Bids must include the total purchase price and company background and contact information, timeline, and other relevant information.
