Description
The Gloucester County Improvement Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to serve as its solid waste engineer. The selected provider will support New Jersey solid waste management activities, including coordination with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; preparation of annual topographic, engineering, and inspection reports; landfill gas and air permitting; landfill cell construction; groundwater protection; NJPDES permitting; closure and post-closure activities; and other solid waste permitting requirements. The cost proposal must identify any proposed retainer, services covered by the retainer, hourly billing rates, and line-item costs for annual topographic surveying, annual engineering reports, annual inspections, groundwater detection monitoring statistical analysis, stormwater basin discharge work, general services, and other necessary expenses. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed. One or more individuals or firms may be selected.
