Description
The United Nations Development Programme seeks a qualified and licensed electricity service provider to deliver reliable, uninterrupted 24/7 electricity to the United Nations Common Compound and UN Clinic in Hargeisa. The scope includes electricity supply at 220–240 volts and 50 Hz, backup capacity, digital metering, stable power quality, monthly meter readings and billing, and 99.5% minimum uptime. Estimated consumption is approximately 3,200 kWh per month for evaluation purposes only and is not guaranteed. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, cabling, cable-management systems, switchgear, control panels, transformers if required, grounding, voltage regulation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, qualified technical personnel, emergency response, and restoration services. Installation and connection are required within 10 working days of contract signature. The initial contract term is one year, with up to three additional one-year renewals subject to performance, funding, and mutual agreement. Required qualifications include a valid electricity-supply license, tax-compliance certificate, company profile, at least three years of relevant experience, and evidence of technical capacity and comparable projects.
