Mississippi State University is proposing to purchase a Redwire Stalker Block 40 fixed unmanned aerial vehicle through a sole-source procurement. The system has been selected for a Department of Homeland Security-sponsored project and is intended to support custom payload integration and a wide range of Homeland Security missions. The estimated purchase amount is $2,086,120.00. Redwire is identified as the only possible source because of its unique knowledge of the aircraft and ability to integrate the required custom payloads. Interested parties may submit a written objection explaining why the commodity is not available from a sole source, with supporting documentation if applicable.
