Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is soliciting competitive bids for 1.0 acre of compensatory wetland mitigation credits associated with the Prairie Creek Littoral Wetland Embankment Maintenance project. The required credits consist of 0.8 acres of Category 3 Non-Forested Wetland credits, 0.1 acres of Category 3 Forested Wetland credits, and 0.1 acres of Category 2 Forested Wetland credits. Credits must come from an Interagency Review Team-approved wetland mitigation bank with approved and released credits located in the Upper Wabash HUC 05120101 watershed. If credits are unavailable there, bidders may propose alternative mitigation meeting applicable Ohio requirements, including in-lieu fee programs or permittee-responsible mitigation. The selected vendor must reserve the credits without a deposit until permits and the mitigation agreement are finalized, then provide documentation of the credit purchase after payment. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and the vendor must complete a standard affirmation and disclosure form.
