Description
Kent ISD is seeking basic maintenance and repair of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment at 11 buildings. The scope includes repair and upkeep of listed UPS units and battery cabinets, with bidders separately identifying eligible and ineligible costs, estimated labor hours, and materials needed for each item. Bids may cover labor, equipment, or both, and must provide separate costs for each requested year. The RFP describes a three-year requested term, while its detailed service specification also identifies a July 1, 2027–June 30, 2028 service period. The selected contractor will provide labor, supervision, tools, testing, and related materials, and must provide maintenance support for the equipment. The proposal must include a bid bond when the base bid is at least $31,321, four references (including one school or school district) for similar work performed within the past three years, a Bill of Materials spreadsheet, and the specified bid forms and affidavits. The contractor must also meet insurance, bonding, and other post-award requirements; those post-award items are not proposal submittals.
