Description
The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada requires an experienced, reputable, and independent third-party cybersecurity firm to conduct an enterprise-level assessment of its cybersecurity posture. The work includes evaluating information technology security controls using ITSG-33 Annex 3A and a harmonized threat and risk assessment methodology, collecting evidence, performing gap analysis, determining residual risk, and developing a prioritized remediation plan. The contractor must also produce a separate report based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework 2.0. The internal report must be detailed, evidence-based, and suitable for management decision-making, while the external-facing report must provide a high-level cybersecurity maturity narrative suitable for publication or broader stakeholder communication without disclosing sensitive technical vulnerabilities, system-specific weaknesses, or protected information. The requirement is limited to qualified Tier 1 holders of the applicable Solution-Based Informatics Professional Services supply arrangement in the Security Management stream.
