Description
The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions' Office of Housing is seeking information from eligible governmental entities about attainable, affordable, supportive, and transitional housing projects throughout New Mexico. Eligible respondents include counties, municipalities, governmental housing authorities, local educational agencies, higher education institutions, Indian tribes, pueblos and nations, and other entities authorized to enter into intergovernmental agreements with the Department. Projects may involve new construction or renovation and may be in pre-development, ready for construction, or under construction. Responses should describe the project, schedule, financing approach, sources and uses, unit mix, development costs, operating projections where applicable, developer or governmental-entity experience, relevant land-use practices, and any applicable capital-outlay or other funding documentation. The Department indicates that funding requests should generally be between $250,000 and $3,000,000. This is a non-binding RFI intended to inform potential funding decisions and intergovernmental agreements, not a formal procurement solicitation.
