Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting a contractor to overhaul, upgrade, repair, test, inspect, and return gas-turbine spark igniters to Ready-for-Issue condition. The requirement covers igniter part number 3888058-7, NSN 2925-01-583-5619, and requires the contractor to provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, and test equipment necessary for the work. Repairs must follow the specified Honeywell drawing and applicable repair manuals, drawings, and specifications. The contractor must perform the work at the identified repair facility, maintain approved repair and inspection procedures, meet a required repair turnaround time of 110 days after asset receipt, report transactions through the Commercial Asset Visibility system, support Government inspection and acceptance, and maintain quality systems meeting ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100 requirements. The contractor must also provide throughput information, enclosed storage, compliant packaging and markings, and documentation for beyond-economical-repair, missing-on-induction, and over-and-above repair determinations.
