The United States Air Force, through the Defense Logistics Agency, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of the new manufacture of an augmentor nozzle for aircraft, identified by NSN 2840-01-357-1941PR. The requirement includes the procurement and manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Potential sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets. Interested sources must be capable of completing a Source Approval Request (SAR) package as specified in the Qualification Requirements for this item. The government is seeking information to determine if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside.
