Description
The City of Elkins is seeking letters of interest from qualified consulting firms to perform a sidewalk feasibility study along approximately 1.8 miles of Highway 16, from Stokenbury Road to East 1st Avenue. The work generally includes surveying and design to determine whether a sidewalk is feasible along portions or all of the route on either the east or west side of the highway. The study must also identify locations where utilities may need to be relocated and develop right-of-way plans. The project uses federal-aid funds, and the selected firm must be FAR compliant or provide Arkansas Department of Transportation Safe Harbor Rate documentation. Work will be reviewed and approved by the Arkansas Department of Transportation.
