This unrestricted federal procurement seeks design-bid-build construction of aircraft pavements at Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal, including a concrete aircraft parking apron and taxi area, expansion and improvement of an existing taxiway, required pavement markings, an access road, and a vehicle parking area behind the apron. The work also includes one separately priced option for bulk formation under a future hangar zone, which may be exercised within 365 days after contract award. The estimated project magnitude is $25 million to $50 million, with an anticipated completion period of 615 calendar days. Offerors must submit technical and price proposals in English and U.S. dollars. Technical evaluation factors are experience, past performance, safety, and management plan. Relevant experience must collectively demonstrate new airfield Portland cement concrete pavement and asphalt concrete pavement, each covering at least 10,000 square meters and meeting the stated thickness requirements, with qualifying work completed or substantially completed within the preceding 15 years. The RFP is anticipated to be issued on or around October 13, 2026; printed copies and CDs will not be provided, and amendments will be posted electronically.
