Description
Colquitt County School District is soliciting a comprehensive Category One telecommunications solution consisting of dedicated, symmetrical Internet Access and fully managed Wide Area Network transport services. The scope includes a required 5 Gbps Internet service, optional 10 Gbps Internet pricing, and managed WAN connectivity between the district office hub and 17 remote locations. WAN circuits must support the requested bandwidths, with infrastructure capable of upgrades up to 10 Gbps. The district prefers leased lit fiber or an equivalent technology and will consider Carrier Ethernet, Metro Ethernet, third-party fiber, and other fully managed transport solutions meeting the technical requirements. The selected provider must furnish the equipment, facilities, installation, configuration, testing, monitoring, maintenance, technical support, project management, and service-level commitments needed for an operational solution. Proposals must address Layer 3 routing, scalability, resiliency, 24/7 monitoring and support, implementation and transition, pricing for 36- and 60-month terms, and up to two optional one-year renewals. A single provider will be selected for the complete Internet Access and WAN scope. Required proposal content includes pricing, a completed and signed Vendor Certification, an implementation and transition plan, SLA information, three customer references, service-provider qualifications, and an Exceptions Worksheet if applicable. The RFP also includes Appendix A, Vendor Certification, and Appendix B, Reference Questionnaire.
