Description
Islands Trust is seeking a qualified firm to lead development of an accessibility plan under the Accessible British Columbia Act. The work includes a desktop review of Islands Trust procedures, public-facing documents and publications, and public access to meetings; identification of accessibility gaps and mitigation measures; and preparation of an accessibility plan consistent with statutory content requirements. The contractor must obtain public feedback on the draft through a website or another suitable method, prepare a final plan for consideration by the Accessibility Committee, develop a plain-language version, and include an implementation section. The work must be completed by March 15, 2027. The estimated contract period is five months, and the expected project value is CAD $10,000 to $19,000.
