Description
The United Nations Development Programme is seeking an individual consultant to support participating small and medium-sized enterprises through a 12-working-day business development and growth strategy assignment conducted over approximately one month. The consultant will deliver eight in-person group training days in Arabic in Northern Jordan, plus preparation, follow-up, review of SME work, and reporting days. The work includes reviewing business models and sales practices; identifying growth opportunities; introducing tools for prospect identification, lead qualification, sales pipeline tracking, buyer engagement, and partnerships; and helping each SME develop a Business Model Canvas, value proposition, target customer segments, revenue and sales strategies, partnership actions, and a 90-day implementation plan. Required proposal materials include a technical proposal, signed offeror interest and availability letter with detailed financial breakdown, CV, beneficiary designation form, statement of health, at least four references, passport copy, relevant education certificate, and a relevant work sample. The assignment requires demonstrated experience in SME growth advisory services, entrepreneurship development, business development, participatory training, and strategic partnerships, with fluency in Arabic and English.
