Description
Canada Health Infoway is establishing a pre-qualified vendor pool for privacy professional services in the health care sector. Vendors may apply to one or more of seven categories: federal Canada; the Atlantic Region; Western Provinces; the Mid-West Region; Quebec; Ontario; and the Canadian Territories. Up to four vendors may be pre-qualified for each category. The required capabilities include privacy consulting and advisory services, privacy impact assessments, privacy program development and data governance, policy development, privacy training and awareness, breach-management and response planning, privacy program evaluations, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, audits, and privacy maturity assessments. Vendors must demonstrate at least five years of relevant Canadian health care experience and provide references for similar work. Pricing must include blended hourly rates, simple/medium/complex privacy impact assessment pricing, and optional volume discounts. The initial pre-qualification agreement is for 24 months, with one optional additional 12-month term; subsequent project work will be competed or assigned through a second-stage process.
