Description
The City of Pasadena's Pasadena Water and Power Department is soliciting an end-to-end advanced metering infrastructure solution for its electric and water utilities. The scope includes a vendor-hosted AMI headend, field area network and communications infrastructure, approximately 68,000 electric meters, approximately 38,000 water meters or retrofits, water endpoints, related materials, and integration with the City's Oracle Customer to Meter and Oracle Meter Data Management systems. The City may award the components separately or in combination. The selected vendor or vendors will provide system design, deployment, installation, testing, commissioning, training, go-live support, network monitoring, work-order management, customer coordination, and ongoing operations and maintenance. The project is expected to span 24 months after approval and notice to proceed, with planning, initial deployment, and full deployment phases. The solicitation requires technical and price proposals, completed requirements and fee workbooks, relevant experience, key personnel information, and numerous City and federally funded-project forms. Installation work is subject to California prevailing-wage requirements, insurance requirements, and performance and labor-and-materials bonds.
