Description
The University of Wisconsin System seeks a contractor to operate and manage the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire bookstore and provide day-to-day administration of its textbook rental program, serving the Eau Claire and Barron County campuses. The contractor will supply and manage textbooks and course materials in print, rental, and digital formats; support faculty adoptions and course packs; operate an e-commerce store; and provide general bookstore merchandise, including school and office supplies, spirit wear, gifts, and graduation products. The scope also includes staffing and customer service, inventory and rental check-out/check-in management, textbook sourcing and reconciliation, technology systems and university integrations, reporting, payment processing, and transition services. The contract is intended to begin on or about July 1, 2027, for a one-year term with up to six one-year extensions by mutual consent. Bids are submitted electronically through the ShopUW+ Sourcing Module; the site visit is encouraged but not mandatory.
