Description
The Joint Intermediate Command and Tactical Force (JIATF) 401, under the Department of the Army, is issuing a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to rapidly procure solutions for countering Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) threats. Authorized by DFARS Subpart 212-70, this initiative allows for streamlined acquisition and quick award decisions to integrate critical technologies. JIATF 401 seeks proposals for commercial products, commercial services, and non-developmental items that can enhance the development, implementation, and advancement of technologies to defeat UAS threats. Awards may be made under FAR Part 12 (Commercial Procedures) or as non-FAR agreements, such as transaction agreements under 10 U.S.C 4022 and cooperative agreements under 31 U.S.C. 6305. This CSO is open for proposals until February 27, 2029, and may result in awards for immediately available commercial technologies, concept demonstrations, pilot programs, agile development, and improvements to existing government capabilities. The contract structure will primarily be fixed-price, including fixed-price incentive fee contracts.
