Description
The United Nations Development Programme is seeking a commercial service provider to design, technically manage, and deliver the Insuring Arab Futures regional advocacy programme on Takaful and inclusive insurance in the Arab States. The assignment requires substantive Takaful and Islamic finance expertise, stakeholder mobilization, policy and regulatory analysis, and coordination with UNDP and regional institutions. The contractor must organize and deliver a closed-door, hybrid Regional Roundtable in Amman on January 13–14, 2027, and a public, high-level hybrid Regional Conference in Rabat on February 2–3, 2027. Responsibilities include venue and hospitality arrangements, sponsored speaker travel, invitations and registration, protocol, visa facilitation, simultaneous interpretation, audiovisual and livestream production, participant management, documentation, and outcome reporting. The contractor must produce four publication-quality policy briefs in Arabic and English, with French executive summaries or related conference materials as specified, incorporating gender analysis and professional peer review; develop a regional outcome document; implement multilingual communications and outreach, including an impact video and social media campaign; and provide final reporting and dissemination support. The assignment is primarily home-based with required on-site delivery in Amman and Rabat.
