Description
The City of Port Angeles is soliciting bids for four new Maxam 23.5 R 25 MS 708 hard rubber tires for a 2021 Caterpillar 950M wheel loader. The work includes removing the existing tires and wheels, transporting them to an appropriate facility if necessary, installing the new tires on the existing wheels and vehicle, properly torquing the wheel nuts, and disposing of the old tires. The vendor may perform the work onsite if properly equipped. Delivery and tire replacement must occur at the Port Angeles Transfer Station. Bidders must submit pricing for both the tires and removal/installation, estimated completion time, descriptive literature, and the completed bid forms. The government estimate is $30,000 to $35,000. Commercial general liability insurance with $2,000,000 per-occurrence, general aggregate, and products-liability aggregate limits is required.
