Description
The Province of Prince Edward Island is seeking one battery-powered, commercial/institutional-grade walk-behind automatic floor scrubber for use in a secure adult correctional facility. The machine must fit through narrow institutional spaces, have a 26- to 32-inch cleaning path, achieve at least 15,000 square feet per hour, operate continuously for at least 2.5 hours, and leave floors dry after a single pass. Required features include minimum 15-gallon solution and recovery tanks, adjustable brush pressure, a heavy-duty rear squeegee, an integrated 120V charger, safety features, non-marking wheels, durable construction, and compatibility with multiple institutional flooring types. The quoted price must include freight and delivery, and the vendor must include operator training, a minimum three-year machine warranty, a minimum five-year tank warranty, service and parts support within Atlantic Canada, and replacement-parts availability for at least 10 years. The successful vendor may be required to demonstrate the equipment on site before award. The submission must include the completed RFQ main document and separate full product-specification documentation uploaded through the Euna eProcurement Portal.
