Description
The Pennsylvania Department of General Services, for the Department of Corrections, is soliciting proposals for electrical construction to perform medium-voltage upgrades at SCI Mercer. The estimated project range is $7,000,000 to $8,000,000, with liquidated damages of $4,000 per day and no bid guaranty required. The stated duration is 730 calendar days from the initial job conference. The procurement includes Small Diverse Business participation goals of 18% and Veteran Business Enterprise participation goals of 3% for all base bids. Proposers must meet the goals or demonstrate good-faith efforts. Proposers must also maintain an active vendor number and create an e-Builder user profile to access the plans and specifications. The proposal must be delivered by mail or in person to the designated Department of General Services submission location, with specific envelope-marking requirements. A Commonwealth Capital Programs Verification Form and Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form are required before award or with the bid, as applicable.
