Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking one 20-foot refrigerated/freezer trailer for an eight-month rental period. The trailer must have a lockable door, an access ramp for a manual pallet jack, and adjustable temperatures from +30°C to -30°C. The contractor must deliver and unload the trailer, verify electrical connections, connect it to the power grid, provide backup power in the event of a failure, install safety covers, provide English-language operating and maintenance instructions, and perform corrective maintenance throughout the rental period. Repairs must generally respond within 24 to 48 hours. The contractor is also responsible for disconnecting, reloading, and removing the trailer at the end of the rental period; the government may extend the lease for up to six additional months.
