Description
Mississippi State University is requesting proposals for a single cloud-based platform supporting an institutional repository, digital collections, electronic thesis and dissertation hosting, and journal hosting. The solution must address infrastructure scalability, support, accessibility, security and privacy, metadata management, indexing, access controls and embargoes, media handling, peer-review workflows, analytics, user-interface customization, and related content-management capabilities. The selected vendor must propose migration of approximately 93,000 items and 500 GB of data from Digital Commons, including metadata, and support seven existing journals with two additional journals anticipated. Vendors must provide applicable security certifications, a completed VPAT, and compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA. Responses require separate technical and cost proposals, with technical content covering company credentials, references, operations, and ability to perform; cost content must address initial implementation and support, data migration, and annual maintenance.
