Description
Senath-Hornersville School District is seeking bids for leased lit fiber service connecting two school locations, with pricing for 1 Gbps and 2 Gbps service based on a five-year term. Proposals must identify all installation charges and include the monthly cost of up to 12 months of month-to-month service if the district transitions to another provider after the initial or any voluntary renewal term. The internal connections scope includes five new rack- or tower-convertible UPS units, with a minimum capacity of 2,200 VA/1,700 W, and five compatible 40G QSFP+ stacking cables for Cisco Meraki MS225 switches or equivalent. UPS installation is required, including positioning the units, verifying electrical compatibility, connecting batteries, and transferring network equipment during an agreed outage window; no installation is required for the stacking cables. Bids must cover an entire internal-connections project rather than individual components, and refurbished equipment is not accepted.
