The U.S. Navy's NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support is seeking 24 air separation modules, NSN 1R-3655-017002793-P8, reference number 2170105-101, for delivery FOB origin. This is a commercial-item spares procurement for a flight-critical part, and early and incremental deliveries are accepted and preferred. The item requires Government source approval before award. Only previously approved sources were solicited, but alternate sources may qualify through the applicable design control activity and Government engineering approval process. Offerors that are not already approved sources must submit the technical information required by the applicable NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochure with their proposal, or document that all required information was previously submitted. Offers lacking the required source-approval information will not be considered. The proposed action is intended to be solicited and negotiated with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, although responsible sources may submit capability information or proposals for consideration.
