Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item to repair TRANSMITTER, PRESSUR units identified by CAGE code 81349 and reference number MIL-P-24212/PCTSW150G4. Work includes receipt of potentially unserviceable units, teardown and evaluation, complete repair or overhaul, inspection and testing to the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings, preservation, packaging, packing, marking, and delivery. Repaired items must meet applicable operational and functional requirements, contain no metallic mercury or mercury contamination, comply with MIL-STD-130 marking requirements and MIL-STD 2073 packaging requirements, and satisfy qualified-products-list requirements. Offerors must provide estimated pricing for the full repair effort, pricing for the increased-quantity option, the cost of a new item for evaluation purposes, a teardown and evaluation rate, proposed repair turnaround time, throughput and capacity constraints, induction expiration date, and any exceptions. Vendors have 90 days after receipt of the carcasses to complete teardown and evaluation and submit a firm-fixed-price quote for the full repair effort. The requested repair turnaround time is 134.137 days. Only authorized distributors may be considered, and proof of authorization on company letterhead signed by a responsible company official must be submitted with the offer. An increased-quantity option may be exercised 365 days after award.
