Description
The GSA's Supply Chain Management Contracting Division is seeking feedback from industry regarding Brand Name National Stock Numbers (NSNs). These NSNs were established as Brand Name (BN) specific, and the Item Purchase Descriptions (IPDs) are likewise written as BN specific. GSA is seeking to verify whether the need described by the IPDs can be met only by the cited manufacturer, or if other manufacturers' products or brands can be offered. To meet the continued need for these items on behalf of DoD customers, GSA will seek to add these items to contract. Industry respondents are requested to provide feedback confirming or countering the requirement as described. Supporting information must be provided by industry respondents by filling in the designated columns in the attached Excel template, along with supporting documentation for all NSNs where a viable substitute is indicated. Responses should be emailed to fssi.mro-req@gsa.gov with the subject line formatted as: BN NSN Industry Feedback, [Your Vendor or OEM Name].
