Description
This Sources Sought/RFI seeks information on new, commercially available four-wheel-drive armored tactical vehicles, or equivalent configurations, capable of transporting personnel and equipment in off-road and security-force environments. Preliminary characteristics include a diesel engine, automatic transmission, left-hand steering, payload of at least 1,500 kilograms after armor and equipment installation, integrated ballistic, mine, blast, and IED protection, weapons-mounting provisions without weapons or ammunition, run-flat capability, central tire inflation, European braking compliance, NATO-compatible power options, communications and mission-equipment integration, and personnel safety features. Respondents are asked to describe vehicle performance, protection testing, production status, colors and camouflage options, training, technical manuals, diagnostics, warranty, and integration capabilities. They must also provide company information, European parts and maintenance support details, completed nonbinding budgetary pricing, estimated delivery times, and any relevant capability statements. The request is for market research only and is not a request for quotation or a commitment to contract; the technical characteristics are preliminary and may be revised.
