Description
Public Services and Procurement Canada is requesting industry feedback for the Light Forces Enhancement project on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Department of National Defence, and the Canadian Armed Forces. The Canadian Light Forces require new light tactical personnel and cargo-carrying capabilities to move soldiers and equipment across complex terrain that is currently reachable only on foot. The desired solution should reduce soldiers’ on-person combat burden by carrying additional equipment and supplies while increasing operational speed, range, and duration. It is expected to be lightweight and capable of supporting domestic and expeditionary deployments, including high-threat environments.
