Description
The City of Columbus, Division of Water Reclamation, is soliciting a formal bid for the purchase and immediate delivery of one used diesel-powered terminal tractor, specified as an Ottawa T2 4x2 yard truck or equivalent. The vehicle must be inspected and certified, no more than five years old and 11,000 hours, include specified drivetrain, axle, braking, hydraulic, cab, lighting, safety, and fifth-wheel features, and carry the manufacturer's warranty. The bidder must document a manufacturer-certified reseller partnership and make the vehicle available for inspection before final award. The scope also includes factory training for up to 20 operators and preventive-maintenance training for operators and mechanics, plus two complete sets of spare filters covering the first two preventive-maintenance services. Bidders must provide pricing in the electronic bid, current published literature, dealer build sheets, a capability and manufacturer-relationship letter, and references from at least four similar customer contracts. The contract is a one-time purchase; delivery is required by December 7, 2026, and the vehicle is to be delivered to the City's designated fleet facility.
