Description
The selected firm will assess Legal Aid Botswana’s records and information management practices, including governance, processes, systems, risks, compliance, and institutional capacity. It will develop a records management programme, classification and retention frameworks, policies, procedures, standards, and operating guidance, as well as a procurement-ready Statement of User Requirements and functional specifications for a future electronic document and records management system. The work includes analyzing business processes and workflows, integration needs with existing systems, and requirements for security, access, migration, reporting, and compliance. The firm will also support implementation and institutional adoption through implementation-readiness planning, change management, training materials and user guides, and workshops for management and staff. Deliverables include assessment and gap-analysis reports, governance and policy materials, EDRMS requirements, training and change-management outputs, and a final report with a costed implementation roadmap. The assignment is stated as 12 months.
