Description
The Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego, CA, intends to award a sole-source contract to E2M TECHNOLOGIES B.V. for services related to the Motion Base component of their Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN) Extended virtual reality (VR) and treadmill system. E2M TECHNOLOGIES B.V. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Motion Base. The required services include training NHRC technicians on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the Motion Base. Additionally, engineering support is needed to collaborate with NHRC engineers in developing an interface with Unity 3D/VR video engine for direct control of the motion base. The contract is anticipated to be for a period of 12 months. All contractors must be registered in SAM.gov and have completed all required FAR and DFARS representations and certifications.
