Description
The Department of National Defence seeks 12 indoor, air-cooled refrigeration condensing unit and coil sets for classroom training: 10 medium-temperature systems and two low-temperature systems. Equipment must meet the stated temperature and capacity requirements, be compatible with R-448A or R-449A refrigerants and 6-by-6-by-7-foot insulated training boxes, and have accessible components suitable for student exercises. The systems must include the specified evaporators, valves, coils, and temperature/defrost controls, along with system manuals. Components must meet CSA certification requirements for safe indoor use, and proprietary diagnostic tools or software cannot be required for maintenance or troubleshooting. The supplier must provide new equipment, package and deliver it, and include a written warranty of at least one year from delivery. A vendor familiarization session may be requested but is optional. The solicitation is limited to eligible Canadian suppliers and requires environmentally preferable packaging. Offers are evaluated for mandatory technical compliance and lowest evaluated price.
