Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is establishing a supply arrangement to create a pool of qualified suppliers for testing and certifying products covered under the Energy Efficiency Regulations and fenestration products. The arrangement covers eight categories: Commercial Refrigeration Equipment, Industrial and Commercial Equipment, HVAC, Household Appliances, Water Heaters, Electronics, Lighting, and Fenestration. Suppliers must be ISO 17025 accredited and capable of performing specified test methods. The arrangement has no defined end date and remains valid until Canada no longer considers it advantageous. Individual contracts under this arrangement typically range from $30,000 to $200,000.
