Description
The United Nations Development Programme is procuring 20,000 standard woven plastic tarpaulins for humanitarian and emergency shelter interventions. Each tarpaulin must have a finished size of 4.0 by 6.0 meters, be made from woven HDPE fabric coated or laminated with polyethylene on both sides, weigh approximately 200 g/m2, and be white on both sides with a black identification line. The tarpaulins must be waterproof, UV-stabilized, durable, flexible, tear-resistant, rot-resistant, and suitable for heavy-duty outdoor use. They must include reinforced folded edges, corrosion-resistant aluminum eyelets on all four sides at maximum one-meter spacing, and reinforced corners. The supplier is responsible for manufacturing or sourcing, pre-production sampling and approval, quality control, testing, packing, transportation, insurance, customs clearance, and delivery under DAP terms to designated warehouses in Gaza. Delivery is required within seven days after contract signature. The supplier must provide technical data, applicable test certificates, packing lists, shipping documents, and any required permits; defective or non-compliant goods must be replaced at no additional cost. Partial bids and multiple awards are permitted, but only quantities available and verifiable at bid submission will be considered. A $7,000 bid security and a performance security equal to 10% of contract value are required.
