Description
The County of San Diego is seeking one new, unused 2026-or-newer Ford F-250 XL Crew Cab 4x4 with an 8-foot bed, Oxford White exterior, 7.3L V8 gasoline engine, and heavy-duty vinyl interior. Required outfitting includes all-weather floor mats, four programmed key sets, spray-in bedliner, upfitter switches, Ford roof-mounted strobes, a 12,000-pound Ford Performance Parts winch by Warn, platform running boards, a gullwing crossover toolbox, and a white headache rack or County-approved equivalent. The contractor must register the vehicle in California, provide required DMV documentation, complete all outfitting before delivery, and deliver the fully functional vehicle within 90 days after receipt of the purchase order or fully executed contract. The quotation must include pricing for the vehicle, outfitting parts and labor, applicable fees, and quoted lead time, and must identify whether the vehicle is in physical stock or subject to manufacturer order. The procurement is reserved for local businesses, defined as businesses headquartered in or selling the same or similar goods from a location within San Diego County.
