Description
The United Nations Development Programme in Guatemala is soliciting audit services for six projects covering the January–December 2026 period. The scope includes auditing project expenditures and the Combined Delivery Report, reviewing cash balances and assets and equipment where applicable, assessing internal controls, procurement, personnel, financial reporting, project implementation, and compliance with applicable government, UNDP, ISA, and INTOSAI requirements. Auditors must visit project sites as needed, coordinate with project counterparts and UNDP personnel, and identify risks, findings, recommendations, and any financial impact of modified opinions. Required deliverables include draft and final audit reports for each project, management letters, supporting audit forms, and related certifications. Draft reports are due February 15, 2027, and final reports are due March 16, 2027; final reports must be signed PDFs, while draft reports are delivered digitally in Word. The engagement is expected to last up to 20 weeks after contract commencement, with work performed in Guatemala City and from the contractor’s own offices, plus virtual or in-person meetings as requested.
