Description
The United Nations Development Programme is requesting 16 commercial vertical freezers for continuous indoor use in a tropical climate. Each unit must have approximately 500 liters of usable capacity, one glass door, adjustable shelving, digital temperature controls, ventilated no-frost cooling, automatic defrost, LED lighting, alarms, and specified electrical and energy-efficiency features. The technical specifications allow white pre-painted steel or stainless-steel construction and identify R290 as the preferred refrigerant, with alternatives listed. CE or UL certification and manufacturer ISO 9001 certification are specified. The offer must include delivery by sea under CIP terms to the Port of Mariel, with a delivery plan and transport information. The supplier must provide a minimum 12-month warranty, spare-parts availability for at least five years, Spanish-language operating and maintenance materials, and after-sales support. The scope also includes operations and maintenance training, a preventive maintenance plan, troubleshooting guidance, recommended spare-parts information, and a detailed after-sales service plan.
